Chris is a third-year studying Computational and Applied Mathematics and Creative Writing. Prior to joining LTF, Chris worked full-time as an analyst for the NSA, and as a Strategic Partnerships Manager for the DIA. He is passionate about deep and emerging tech ventures, as well as equipping new entrepreneurs with tools and skillsets needed to be effective, action-oriented, start-up leaders.

Jack, a third-year Econ and Philosophy student, is an investor at Dorm Room Fund and Techstars (NYC, Chicago). Back in Australia, he interned at an early-stage VC and founded an international keyboard business. Now, he helps UChicago founders take their ideas beyond Hyde Park, all while enjoying a great coffee.

Grace is a fourth-year studying Data Science and Architecture. Prior to joining LTF in the fall of her freshman year, she worked for a TMT-focused venture capital firm, the Beijing Financial Bureau, an architecture firm, and a Metaverse entertainment provider startup. She is passionate about integrating the empathetic sensitivity of design with the tangible effectiveness of technology to resolve potential issues that may arise in our tech-centric world.

Dara is a second-year studying Economics and Molecular Engineering on the Quantum Engineering Track. She joined LTF because she has experience working for small organizations and is passionate about startups and entrepreneurship. She is interested in all sectors, from renewable tech to quantum computing, and is excited to help founders on campus.
Michael is a fourth-year studying Economics. He has worked at early/growth-stage funds, participated in multiple startup accelerators, and consulted for Bain and Co. across industries. Michael joined LTF in the fall of his second year because he is passionate about helping entrepreneurs build and scale their ideas, especially first-time founders at UChicago. In his free time, Michael enjoys exploring the Chicago food scene, listening to classical music, and reading.

Estelle is a second-year studying Economics and Chemistry, driven by a passion for innovation, sustainability, and meaningful global impact. She is an incoming Summer Intern at MEA-based VC Global Ventures, where she will develop her understanding of startup growth strategies in emerging economies. Her global focus is reflected in her work with Kenyan Originals, developing strategies for scaling sustainable beverages, and Breaking Good, advancing open-source drug research and synthesis for neglected diseases. Additionally, she thrives on cross-disciplinary collaboration, seeking solutions to complex challenges.

Dolen is a second-year studying Business Economics and Data Science. He founded Stellar Labs, a user-focused software startup dedicated to automating checkout processes, and interned in Product Management at Match Group, gaining hands-on experience in user engagement and strategic product growth. He is passionate about leveraging quantitative insights in combination with the human elements of business to bring innovative ideas to life. In his free time, Dolen enjoys running and is also part of the football team.

Malhar is a second-year from Mumbai, studying Math and Physics. In high school, he interned with a $5 Bn family office, Rare Enterprises. He writes about interdisciplinary, intellectual insights on his blog. In his free time, Malhar enjoys cycling, reading, and watching movies (any Gödel, Escher, Bach/Shawshank Redemption fans?)
Diego is a third-year studying Business Economics and Public Policy. He’s worked in Sales & Operations at Bluedot (YC23), Techstars (Chicago, Bay Area), and cofounded Pool, a carpooling platform for college students traveling to/from airports. While his investment focus is sector agnostic, he has broader interests in climate tech. He writes about his world theses on Substack.

Amos is a first year studying Economics and Political Science. Prior to LTF, he worked in as a congressional intern, hosted a radio show in South Africa, and worked in GTM and product at a Fintech startup up in Boston. Amos is passionate about wrestling with complex problems and connecting with the people that solve them.

Asher is a third-year studying Math and Physics, driven by a lifelong passion for science and technology. He’s currently building at Entrepreneurs First in San Francisco, bringing experience from research at NASA and the UChicago astrophysics department, as well as an internship at a deep-tech VC fund. In his spare time, he enjoys photography, rollerblading, and mastering the art of the pancake flip.

Hannah is a first-year studying Computer Science and Economics, with a passion for conservation and entrepreneurship. Her interest in investing lies in how technology and data inform real-world decision-making, shaped by work applying ML to automate biodiversity research, developing full-stack projects including an anti-poaching bioacoustic sensor, and using technical tools to inform business strategy at startups. At LTF, she is excited by founders building technically ambitious, impact-driven products and enjoys exploring how ideas scale into sustainable businesses.
